Psychoanalysis, psychoanalytical psychotherapy: East London— Leyton, Walthamstow, Dalston, and Hackney
Do you want time and space to talk?
Anxiety, depression, or stress are only a few of the many reasons why someone might talk to a psychoanalyst or psychotherapist. My name is Dr Laura Chernaik; I offer open-ended psychoanalytical psychotherapy in East London (Leyton & Walthamstow, Hackney & Dalston) addressed to the individual client. This can be once-weekly or 2-5 times a week. justEmail Contact Form
Psychoanalytical psychotherapy is a mixture of two processes. Psychoanalysis focuses on listening and questioning; it is a thoughtful way to explore what it is that you desire. It can open up a space for change. Psychotherapy is care: the therapeutic aspects of the work. Each psychoanalytical psychotherapy is different, a mixture of analytic and therapeutic processes. It can open up possibilities; it can help you find stability and a way of living with whatever challenges life poses.
Psychotherapy is talk-therapy. A psychotherapist listens with her heart. As we work together, something unpredictable and unknowable happens. justEmail Contact Form to discuss psychotherapy or psychoanalysis or to make an appointment at my consulting room in East London, between Leyton, Walthamstow, and Hackney.
It's rare to be truly listened to, and that's what a psychoanalyst or psychotherapist offers: listening. Psychotherapy and psychoanalysis are an opportunity to be heard, a chance to explore questions that mean a lot to you. What is important to you? What do you think and feel? What do your ideas and feelings mean to you?
I offer free 15 minute phone appointments for people considering psychotherapy or psychoanalysis. If you are considering psychotherapy or psychoanalysis and you'd like to talk for 15 minutes, please email me on [email protected] or phone 07947 330 631 to book a free 15 minute phone appointment.
